Oregon State University, Cascades Student Success Center
Higher Education
The Student Success Center will encompass various versatile spaces to cater to different needs. These spaces will be utilized for studying, tutoring, advising, counseling, arts presentations, informal gatherings, and student engagement in multicultural, social, club, and student government activities. Additionally, the center will house offices for student success staff, including those responsible for service learning, sports and clubs, career counseling, and internship support. The building utilizes mass timber as the primary construction material. The project ties into the campus heating and chilled water hydronic loop which is fed from a modular heat recovery chiller supplemented by a geothermal injection system.
